On Sunday, Michelle and I also went to the National Geographic “The Beautiful Days” exhibition, at the Seoul Arts Center. I happened to see a similar exhibition last year when they held it there, and this was just as incredible, if not more.
It’s a huge exhibition with beautifully printed and mounted very large prints from all around the world - a: the winged animals, b: the walking animals, c: the underwater creatures, d: the eye-opening sights and e: people in nature. There are no English descriptions bar the titles I have listed, but if you can’t read Hangul, not knowing where they were taken doesn’t detract from their impressiveness.
The exhibition is on until 11th October. Adult tickets are 12,000 won.
Seoul Arts Center, Seocho-gu, Seoul. Take line number 2 to Seocho and go out exit 3. It’s about a ten minute walk, straight ahead. You can’t miss the Arts Center looming up in front of you on the hill.
